I sit down with Radical Reggie to show you our recent game pickups & finds from the Seattle Retro Gaming Expo & Portland Retro Gaming Expo. This is a super-sized episode at over 45 minutes, but you guys have been asking for longer episodes.
Sorry about the crappy Atari 2600 game capture footage. I had to do that old school: Aim the camcorder at the TV while playing the game. It’s not the best quality, but you get the idea.
Would I consider opening a physical retro gaming store? Where would it be located? Would I sell more than just games? What are some of the challenges I would face? Would there be a dress code?
Occasionally it’s fun to do something a little different on my YouTube channel: Metal Jesus takes Wood from BeatEmUps & TheBigJB around the Seattle area game hunting or “questing”. He also challenges them to find the WORST GAME for $5 or under…that isn’t Bubsy 3D!
This video was a bit of a challenge to edit because I had originally hoped to show more normal game pickups…but in the end, it really became all about the $5 Bad Game Challenge. Sure we picked up a few non-shitty games…but nothing amazing. So in the end, the video got trimmed quite a bit to make it zip along more and I think it’s better for it.
Also…shooting the b-roll green screen stuff really made the video pop! Tiffany in particular had some really funny “outsider” remarks about how stupid we all were. She was kinda nervous she would come across as bitchy in the video…but I thought she was hilarious and just made it even better!
We love being SCARED and playing a good survival horror game is a fun way to spend a dark and lonely evening pooping our pants in FEAR! In this video Reggie shows us some of his favorite Survival Horror hidden gems covering the PS2, PS1, XBOX, PS3, Wii and much more!

Metal Jesus: Metal Jesus here, and I am back again with Reggie. How’s it going, dude?
Reggie: Glad to be back, bro. And today we’re going to do a survival horror hidden gems video like a lot of the unknown survival horror gems that I think that are out there so let’s take a look.
Metal Jesus: I consider myself a fan of survival horror games.
No Man’s Sky is an ambitious open UNIVERSE space exploration survival game unlike any other. It definitely sounds amazing and looks incredible…but what exactly will we DO!? So much is unknown at this point… but here are my thoughts and initial impressions of the game.
Metal Jesus: Metal Jesus here, and I am back with John Riggs.
John: How’s it going, man?
Metal Jesus: Good. What are we here for today?
John: We have some great Super Famicom games. These are the Japanese Super Nintendo games that you don’t need to know any Japanese for. You can just pick them up and just start playing them.
Metal Jesus: Dude, and we previewed some of these, and there are some games that are pretty awesome here.
