Easy Day Studios, an independent developer of extreme sports games, today announced its new skateboarding game, Skater XL, has launched for PC on Steam Early Access. With an emphasis on board control and freedom of expression, the team has worked closely with the skateboarding community to capture the feel and experience of skateboarding to make it accessible for anyone with a passion for skateboarding culture and/or game genre.
Skater XL Early Access can be downloaded on Steam starting today for $19.99 USD.
Skater XL has been designed with the smoothest, most responsive gameplay ever felt in a skateboarding game. With new
ground-breaking and intuitive controls, skateboarding in a video game has never felt more authentic, fluid, and responsive. Players can style tricks any way they want and make every trick and line their own. Skater builds upon the strong foundations of previous key titles and moves the genre a giant leap forward towards completely expressive play.

Helping plan and curate the museum at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo was one of my favorite things I’ve done this year. This video is the guided tour that we never quite got to give — with lots of history and extra information. I also included a bit about our planning process and challenges we faced at the end if that sort of thing interests you. Thank you so much for watching!
Special thanks to all of the VGHF and PRGE volunteers and donors! 100% could not have done it without you. Of course also a huge thank you to John Hancock for providing his collection for display in the museum.
Jack has a surprise for Ozzy. That surprise is Mac Sabbath.

It doesn’t matter how diligent we are of keeping track of what’s in the fridge, we’ve all been there. There are always those few mystery bottles of condiments tucked away in the back, the ones you forget about until you’re rummaging through for something else. Should you keep them, or pitch them?

Michael Herman asks
I have the toughest time picking what game to play next out of my ever-growing backlog. How do you guys prioritize your backlogs and pick which game comes next? Also, how do you manage to stick with that game before bouncing on to the next in the queue?
