Voidbrand – I ramble about Crusader: No Remorse, another game from my childhood, sort of. You play as the Captain, a Silencer who formerly worked for the WEC (World Economic Consortium). Your team is wiped out by a WEC mech for refusing to kill civilians, so what do you do? Throw your lot in with the Resistance, and begin your “crusade” to dismantle the WEC with No Remorse! An excellent isometric action game with controls that can be pretty frustrating, but does the game hold up? The soundtrack certainly does.

Nightdive’s remake masterfully brings most of the aspects that haven’t aged as well into the present day, with excellent new graphics and nearly all the modern gameplay conveniences you could want. Tweaking the technical workings of Citadel space station to come out on top and foil SHODAN’s machinations is just as compelling as it ever was, making the original System Shock one of gaming’s classics for a very good reason.

Side Adventure – Returning to the Wing Commander series now. While I appreciated Wing Commander III Heart of the Tiger a lot, I had heard Wing Commander IV The Price of Freedom was even better. Spoiler alert: it is.

I review the new AT-ST & Chewbacca vehicle set. This is a part of The Vintage Collection line of toys, and the 40th anniversary set for Return of the Jedi. The Star Wars AT-ST (All Terrain Scout Transport) vehicle is a bipedal, heavily armed and armored military vehicle used by the Galactic Empire in the Star Wars universe. It is similar in design to the larger AT-AT (All Terrain Armored Transport) vehicle, but is smaller and more agile, making it ideal for scouting and patrol duties. The AT-ST is equipped with a variety of weapons, including a chin-mounted laser cannon, concussion grenade launchers, and a blaster cannon mounted on the top of its head. It first appeared in the 1983 film “Return of the Jedi” and has since become an iconic vehicle in the Star Wars franchise, appearing in numerous films, TV shows, and other media.
