Unlikely History of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (Movie, Toys & Cartoon)

The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes franchise is a humorous horror-comedy series that began with the 1978 film “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes” and includes multiple sequels, a TV series, and other spin-off media. The premise of the franchise is that tomatoes have become sentient and are attacking and killing humans, often with comedic and absurd results. The franchise is known for its campy humor, satire of B-movies, and its use of practical effects to bring the killer tomatoes to life.

WTF Happened to The Greatest American Hero?

The Greatest American Hero is a show that’s much beloved by folks of a certain generation. If you grew up in the seventies or eighties, the theme song is instantly iconic. In fact, the track “Believe it or Not” by Joey Scarbury actually made it all the way to the number 2 spot on the Billboard Charts. It was actually a bigger hit than the show itself, which only ran for two and a half seasons before being cancelled with five unaired episodes in early 1983. Yet, it remains part of the pop culture, with talk of rebooting it every now and then.

n this episode of Gone But Not Forgotten, which is written by Jessica Dwyer, edited by Cesar Gabriel, and narrated by Travis Hopson, we dig into this classic show. We examine how the show was conceived, how it was an initial hit, and why it was abruptly cancelled. We also dig into failed reboots and sequels, such as the Greatest American Heroine, and how the show also introduced us to the great Michael Paré before Eddie & the Cruisers and Streets of Fire made him a heartthrob.

The History of Automan – It’s Like Tron But Different? And On TV

Toy Galaxy – Automan was a science fiction superhero television series. It aired for 12 episodes (although 13 were made) on ABC between 1983 and 1984. It consciously emulates the stylistic trappings of the Walt Disney Pictures live-action film Tron, in the context of a superhero TV series.

A short-lived bold and expensive experiment that didn’t pay off. At least they got an action figure out of it.

Airwolf – Theme Cover (KOSmusic Version)

KOSmusic – This is my cover of the theme song of a super classic from the TV series of all time: Airwolf Theme of the 1984

To recreate this version, I took inspiration from the original and the extended version of this fantastic track. I wanted to give a more “synthesized” impression compared to the original by replacing the “French Horn” with classic 80s synth brass and other typical sounds of those years.

In the future, I will try to recreate the original version of the opening theme and maybe even the extended version of this MASTERPIECE.

It took a few months to recreate the cover, the graphics and the video but I hope you like it 😉
