I review the new AT-ST & Chewbacca vehicle set. This is a part of The Vintage Collection line of toys, and the 40th anniversary set for Return of the Jedi. The Star Wars AT-ST (All Terrain Scout Transport) vehicle is a bipedal, heavily armed and armored military vehicle used by the Galactic Empire in the Star Wars universe. It is similar in design to the larger AT-AT (All Terrain Armored Transport) vehicle, but is smaller and more agile, making it ideal for scouting and patrol duties. The AT-ST is equipped with a variety of weapons, including a chin-mounted laser cannon, concussion grenade launchers, and a blaster cannon mounted on the top of its head. It first appeared in the 1983 film “Return of the Jedi” and has since become an iconic vehicle in the Star Wars franchise, appearing in numerous films, TV shows, and other media.
Everyone likes to be hip, new, fresh, and on top of the charts. But when bands start to slide, sometimes they try to reinvent themselves. The question is…. did it work? Join me as I run through 10 old bands changing their sound hoping to be popular again. I’ll give my opinion and you decide if it worked or not.
The 8-track was a magnetic tape cartridge format used for music playback that was popular in the United States from the mid-1960s to the early 1980s. It was developed by a group of companies led by Lear Jet Corporation, and was initially marketed as a way to listen to music in cars. The format was widely adopted due to its portability and the ability to play pre-recorded tapes. However, its popularity declined in the late 1970s with the rise of cassette tapes, which offered better sound quality, smaller size, and longer playing times. By the early 1980s, 8-tracks had largely been replaced by cassettes and were no longer being produced. Today, the 8-track is remembered as a curious and somewhat quaint piece of music history.
The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes franchise is a humorous horror-comedy series that began with the 1978 film “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes” and includes multiple sequels, a TV series, and other spin-off media. The premise of the franchise is that tomatoes have become sentient and are attacking and killing humans, often with comedic and absurd results. The franchise is known for its campy humor, satire of B-movies, and its use of practical effects to bring the killer tomatoes to life.
