Torment: Tides of Numenera is a game set in the world of Monte Cook’s new tabletop RPG setting, Numenera. Torment continues the thematic legacy of Planescape: Torment, the critically acclaimed role-playing game from 1999 that’s considered by many to be a hallmark for storytelling in computer RPGs. With Torment, we’re creating a rich role-playing experience that explores similar deep, personal themes.

Torment is releasing on February 28th, 2017 on Windows, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Minecraft isn’t just a game. It’s an art form.

From VOX: Minecraft maps are unique worlds, but they can also be an art form.

Minecraft is a sandbox video game originally created by Swedish game designer Markus “Notch” Persson, and later fully developed and published by Mojang. The creative and building aspects of Minecraft enable players to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world.

Let’s Play OUTRUN 2 (Original XBOX) – Heart Attack Mode

Metal Jesus and Drunken Master Paul try to impress the girlfriend in the Ferrari while playing the amazing Outrun 2 on the original XBOX. It’s a really fun racing game that has a cool mini-game called Heart Attack mode.

OutRun 2 stays true to the race format laid down by the 1986 original, in which the player goes behind the steering wheel of a Ferrari sports car with a young lady in the passenger seat through 5 of 15 stages. As before, the player can choose their course and the soundtrack. (In cars that are either convertibles or open T-tops, the lady will put her hands up in various ways when the car crosses a checkpoint.)

An Appreciation Of Pixel Art, Gaming’s Most Beautiful Style

Leo’s back from Kotaku! Pixel art can often feel nostalgic, hearkening back to those bygone days of cathode ray tube monitors and floppy disks. It’s easy to think of modern pixel art as stuck in the past, a mere retro inspired throwback. But that’s giving the form a disservice.

Examples of modern games that have amazing pixel art:
Shovel Knight
Nidhogg
Fez
Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP
Broforce
Owlboy
Stardew Valley
