Ah, the humble 7. One of the most misunderstood numbers in gaming. It’s not a bad score, but let’s be honest, nobody is exactly throwing a parade for a 7. These games rarely make Game of the Year lists, “Best Of” lists, or anyone’s Top 10. But today, we’re changing that.

This one’s for the 7s! 🎮

We’re digging into the 7 Best 7s, those games that were really freaking good, maybe even almost great, but for one reason or another just couldn’t quite break through. For this first edition, we’re going back to the 2000s, covering 2000 through 2009 and systems like the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox, Xbox 360, GameCube, and Nintendo Wii.

Chances are you’ve played some of these. You might even have some seriously good memories attached to them. They’re fun, they’re memorable, and they absolutely deserve some love. They just never quite made it into the gaming hall of fame.

So let’s crack open that forgotten shelf of games and celebrate the 7 Best 7s: 2000s Edition!
