The Immortal John Hancock walks Metal Jesus through his amazing NEO GEO console and game collection. He covers the AES (Advanced Entertainment System) and arcade MVS (Multi Video System), plus the differences between the two cartridges, controllers, accessories and even the NEO GEO X GOLD and rare NEO GEO CD…
Game Sack Episode 79 – So they crammed the Neo Geo on a handheld device and are selling it for $200. Is it worth it?
The Neo Geo X (NGX) is a handheld video game console manufactured by Tommo Inc., licensed by SNK Playmore, and the latest console released as part of the company’s Neo Geo brand. Information about the Neo Geo X was first reported in January 2012 and later confirmed in March.[1][2] It is the first Neo Geo system to be released since the discontinuation of the brand in 2004 and the third Neo Geo handheld device, following the 1999 release of the Neo Geo Pocket Color, which was supported until 2001.
Reggie comes by to talk about one of his favorite handhelds: the NEO GEO Pocket Color. This competitor to the Gameboy Color didn’t make much of a splash, but it has a hardcore dedicated fan base today and some great games for it.
Do you own this little handheld? And what games do you recommend?
