NieR: Automata is an action role-playing video game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix for PlayStation 4 and Windows. NieR: Automata is a sequel to the 2010 video game Nier, a spin-off of the Drakengard series.
Upon release, NieR: Automata was met with very positive reviews, with critics praising the game’s narrative, characterization, thematic depth, music design, combat system, and mixture of different gameplay genres, as well as its usage of the video game medium to tell its story, while criticism was leveled at the game’s visual and technical problems.

Obviously these 12 competitors display a wide range of power and performance, so why do we continue lining them up for one, over-the-top drag race?… Because We Can!
Engineer Dave Sieg has spent the last 20 years preserving the only working Scanimate, an analog motion graphics machine that was the staple of film/tv animation in the 70’s and 80’s. Dave discusses the technical and cultural impact of the Scanimate and what the future holds for this iconic machine.
